Easter Sun-day
What more could you ask for on Easter Sunday than good friends, good food and beautiful sunshine? I can’t claim to have made the sun shine, but I did invite a group of my loveliest friends for a fabulous feast hosted by me and the delightful Sarah.

On the menu was roast chicken (with a scrumptious marinade made by Rob using garlic, herbs, olive oil and paprika), roast potatoes, roast parsnips, roast carrots, mashed sweet potatoes, broccoli, delicious homemade gravy (again by Rob) and the fluffiest Yorkshire puddings you’ve ever seen created by Martin. For pudding we were treated to Rob’s apple and blackberry crumble with custard and a deeply chocolatey fair trade tart courtesy of Co-op via Martin. All of this was washed down with copious amounts of wine provided by Woody, Fiona and Kieran. When we were so full we could barely remember our names we rolled down the hill to the beach. Bliss!
